The night of the Relief Society broadcast, my mom and sisters and I had a fun girls night out. We started at Kneaders, which was way yummy!
Then we went to Megan’s “house” to watch the broadcast. I LOVE that they have it on TV so we can skip the getting dressed up and sitting on uncomfortable benches!
After the broadcast, (which we all LOVED, especially President Uchtdorf, who always seems to say EXACTLY what I need to hear), we had an “Our Favorite Things” exchange. We each chose something that was our favorite thing, and bought one for everyone else. We kept our budget small, like $1-$2.
Amber gave hand sanitizer ~ Jennie gave mini cutting boards
Megan gave nail polish ~ Mom gave Jergens lotion
And I gave microfiber dish cloths.
It was so much fun to get cute little presents from everyone! (oh, and Megan also gave KY jelly, silly Meggie!)
Then we headed out for dessert! We stopped at Sweet Tooth Fairy.
And then went to Coldstone.
Yum! I sure did love my cupcakes!! I’ve been dreaming of going back ever since!
It’s always so nice to have a girls night out! (We for sure missed our sisters who weren’t there though!)
