Tracy Aviary

I decided one morning to take Jared and Lily on an “Adventure” to Tracy Aviary.  They were really excited to go, even though they didn’t know what it was.  Jared has been really into birds lately, pointing them out wherever we go, so I knew he would like it. 

We saw all the ducks in the pond.

They even got to feed the ducks which was super fun!!

The Aviary sure had changed a lot since the last time I was there. (it HAS been a few years…)  It was great to explore it with these two!  They went crazy for the Owl Forest!  There was even a little treehouse they climbed on over and over!

It was such a fun morning!  I loved going at their pace and seeing everything from their eyes. 

If there were signs saying which birds were in a particular area, we had to search and search per Lily’s demands to find every single bird! 

They both enjoyed digging in the sand.  This area has different tools that are like different bird beaks.  They had fun scooping dirt and trying to pick up rocks with wrenches and tongs.

After our adventure at the Aviary, it was quite warm, so since we were only a short walk away, we went to the “Rivers”!  Lily was a little upset that I didn’t have her swimming suit at first, but soon, nothing stopped her from enjoying the nice cool water on her toesies!

Jared loved splashing and climbing all over the waterfalls.

We had a great time and are excited to return with older sisters this summer to have some more fun with them!!
