We have been enjoying all of the library activities this year. One week, we decided to make a fun playdate out of it, and invite along a friend. Savannah got to invite her friend Tami. We weren’t really sure what it was that we were going to see, but went anyway. It ended up being so much fun! It was The Slick Rock Gypsy, and he taught the kids all about different types of music in a fun way!
All of the girls got to help out and play an instrument.
It was fun to see what instrument/hat he would pull out next! He also spoke in the different accents which was pretty funny!
He had all of the kids up on their feet dancing and singing along!
After our fun at the library, we headed off to a summer favorite: “free lunch” at the park. We had so much fun, in fact, that I completely forgot about my visiting teachers coming over and ended up missing them! Whoops! I guess hanging with my kids is what summer is about though!! And we are certainly making sure that we get a LOT of that in!!!
