Have a Lemonade Party!!
I wanted to have a fun party and invite all of our cousins over, and we decided to have a “Lemonade” Party! The kids and I had a fun time deciding on what kinds of goodies and drinks to serve.
Savannah was my main partner in crime, and not only helped me make most of the goodies, but helped me decorate as well.
We had a great big container of Countrytime Lemonade, and then we made 5 “specialty” lemonades. They were all unique and yummy, although we did have to water down the Pomegranate one.
We made Lemonade Cupcakes, had flavor stir-ins, “Lemonies” (Lemon brownies) and Lemon Burst cookies. Our goodies were very yummy! I also made Frozen Lemonade that we had after lunch.
All of the kids and adults liked sampling everything.
Emma and Michaela insisted on sitting in the shade while drinking their lemonade—like the song!!
Other than having a yummy time, the kids enjoyed playing with each other. They had fun in the sandbox,
On the swingset,
With the pool,
On the tramp,
And they also built with the castle blocks.
It was a fun day and we really enjoyed our fun Lemonade Party! We are hoping to have another fun theme party before the end of summer!!
