Conference Weekend

We had a great Conference weekend.  We decided kind of last minute to head up to my Grandma’s house in Star Valley, Wy.  My parents, Dave, Michelle, Dennis, Julie and little Afton came too.  We had such a fun time visiting with grandma and watching Conference!  Here are pictures of our fun!  (there are a lot, but we had a lot of fun!)

We took our sleds (that we haven’t been able to use very much due to lack of snow this year).  All of my kids loved playing in all the snow Grandma had.  It started raining pretty hard while we were outside though, so we didn’t last very long in the cold.

It was kind of a crazy weekend, and with everyone around, it was a little disruptive.  But it was great to watch Conference together.  I always love to hear the messages and there is always so much that applies to me.  I love that my older girls are starting to really listen as well.  Savannah has made several references the past few days to things that she heard at Conference. 

We had so much fun and it was a nice little get-away!  Savannah has insisted we go back up sometime this summer when it is warm so we can play outside!  I love the time we get to spend with grandma.  I think it is pretty special that my kids get to know one of their great-grandma’s and have such a special time with her.
