We ate breakfast the next morning by the window and watched as we came into the Harbor at Cabo.
Look how excited we are for our day! (pst! Jason! Look excited!)
All angles of the famous Cabo San Lucas Arch.
We took little tender boats into the pier.
We went to another dock where our excursion was to depart from, but they were not boarding yet, so we had some time to kill. We explored some of the gift shops, Jason had his first of many Mexican Cokes and we found these fun swing/seats and played around on them!
We were finally able to board our boat, the Oceanus.
They took us around the harbor again and we were able to get pictures of us at the arch.
Someone on our boat offered to take a picture of us together, and they kind of missed the ball. We are pretty much covering up the Arch with our heads.
This is a cave around the other side of the Arch. They told us people used to be able to go inside, but now it is too dangerous.
We then enjoyed a very relaxing ride to another harbor where we got to go snorkeling. This is a picture of the harbor, but unfortunately, there are no pictures of us in our awesome snorkel gear. :( Jason took to snorkeling like a fish, as I knew he would. Me, on the other hand, I had a hard time getting it. I couldn’t ever get my mask to NOT fill with water and I was stopping quite a bit to drain it. Other than the fact that I felt like I was suffocating the entire time, I enjoyed seeing all of the colorful fishes! It was crazy to see fish so close, and swim right through the middle of them. We had a fun time!
Then it was back to the pier. We enjoyed some snacks and drinks on the way back. We also talked to some of the people on the boat and got some insider scoop on some good places to go when we returned in two days.
We still had a while until we had to be back on the boat, so there was more wandering. Jason was trapped by this statue guy.
We also got our first taste of authentic Mexican food, a chicken quesadilla. It was super yummy. We ordered it from the window of a restaurant, and when we tried to sit down at their tables, we were told it was for customers only. (Tipping customers of course.) So we found a place to sit next to the pier and enjoyed our little snack.
On our way back on the tender boat, there was a lady exclaiming how hungry she was, and that she refused to eat anything on shore when she could just have food free on the ship. Jase and I were all about experiencing everything, and loved trying all of the food on shore!! It was a great day in Cabo San Lucas!
