In December we are lucky to have two birthday girls 4 days apart. This makes for quite a crazy month, with Christmas too. This year, since we also had a cruise and got back 2 days before the first birthday, it made this year even crazier! We had a great time celebrating these two girls though.
First, was Michaela’s 7th birthday. I love how thrilled she was by everything. She didn’t ask for much, so I was able to get her some things I knew she would love, but would never expect.
She was definitely thrilled!
She got dressed for the day in something that would match her sparkly new boots!
It was kind of a crazy day. Her birthday landed on a Tuesday this year, which is our dance night. I guess she had confided in grandma while she was staying with her about how worried she was that her birthday wouldn’t have time to be celebrated. I went out of my way to make sure she felt special all day.
She asked for donuts for her class treat and loved handing them out to all of the kids.
She asked for pizza (“whatever kind you want mom”) for dinner, and we took it over to Grandma and Grandpa’s and celebrated over there.
We have one hour in between Michaela and Savannah’s dance class where we could all be together as a family, and that is when we ate cake. I made a really simple cake, and she loved it.
She got a super cute outfit from G & G Fergy and was excited to wear it the next day. (Jared loves to be in pictures with his sisters!)
She also got a visit from G & G Medico the next day and a phone call or two. She told one of her aunts who called that it was ok that she hadn’t called the day before, because this day was her 2nd birthday! Silly little girl, and we love her!
Happy Birthday Sweetie!
