The Ship {part two}

I’ve had a few people tell me that it’s a lot of waiting around to get on the ship, but we really had very little wait and got right on. 

We headed first to our room to check it out. 

We loved our window view throughout the cruise. 

Then we started exploring.  We ended up on one of the top decks where we watched as we sailed away from the harbor.

We were put on late dining, so we had some time to kill.  We watched football on the giant outdoor screen for a while and wandered some more. 

Our first dinner night.  We sat at a giant table, but only had two other couples with us.  Our waiters were all from the Philippines, and Jason enjoyed getting to talk to them in their language throughout the cruise.

The next morning we had a relaxing day on the ship.  We ate lots, we read, we watched movies and weird Mexican sit-coms, and slept some too.  These are probably the best pictures I got of our dining room.  For dinner we sat upstairs, but for all of the other meals we were put wherever.  Sometimes we got a table for two, but for the most part we were put with others.  It was really fun to meet a bunch of different people, and some we ended up running into quite a bit throughout the week.

That night was “Elegant Night” and I enjoyed dressing up.  Jason, I think not so much, but he’s a good sport and did for me! 

We enjoyed a Peña Colada (virgin, of course!) and music pre-dinner in one of the lounges.  My favorite décor in the ship had to be the Zebra couch in this lounge!  I also loved the windows in the lounge and made Jason pose by one!  he he!

We had super yummy food, but I was too busy eating all of it to take any pictures.  Instead, I took many many pictures of us like this:

We enjoyed going to some of the shows at night, but didn’t always last through them.  It was really late, and I would usually start falling asleep in the middle.  I guess even without kids to chase around, we weren’t up to the night life!
