Activity Days with Savannah

Last week, I was invited to Activity Days with Savannah.  They had planned a little event to share what they had been doing and their talents with their moms.

They had all learned to knit and each knit their mom a potholder.  Savannah got stuck on hers, and not knowing how to knit myself, I couldn’t help her.  She is still working on mine!

They all made their mom a bouquet of sucker flowers.

It was so cute to watch my little girl pour us some water and be a perfect little hostess!

We each got a fruit and yogurt parfait in a fancy glass that we got to keep.

Then the girls each shared their talent.  Savannah didn’t tell me about the talent show, but I kind of knew about it anyway.  I let her tell me there though so she could “surprise” me.  I didn’t know what she was going to do for her talent, but she decided to sing a song from “Tangled”.  I am so impressed by her!!  She sang the whole thing without any mistakes and right on tune!  It was so good.  She told me later that she was going to do a dance, but then didn’t have her music, so just decided when she got there to sing instead.  So she basically went up there and “winged” it!

It was so fun to spend an afternoon with Savannah.  She is growing up so fast and I love the little times we get for just the two of us to hang out and do something special!
