So to continue our last week of summer fun, on Tuesday, we went to Thanksgiving Point $2 Tuesdays with my mom. We always go to the gardens because even though it is pretty crowded, the gardens have plenty of room to run around and play. We started by playing in the ark. They fence it off and only let the kids have a 20 min block of time to play. It’s fun, but because we were the first ones to play, it was still chilly, and they kept running to me and saying they were cold.
Then we went through the mazes. It was cah-razy! Michaela and Lily were always running way ahead. I am a pretty over-protective mom, and it drove me nuts to not stay together.

We dug in the dirt.
Michaela caught a little frog. She was so funny about it. She had a whole swarm of kids gathered around her and she would give them each turns holding the little frog. She even named it. (Hopper)
When it was time to put the frog down, Michaela was pretty devastated. She pretty much wanted to bring him home as her new little pet!
We built with blocks.
And played “music”.
We had a great time with our little family and grandma. Thanks for coming mom! (and….. I am a loser who didn’t take a picture of my mommy)
