Willard Bay

The Saturday after I got home from Girls Camp, Amber had invited the entire family out to Willard Bay for the day, to play and have fun together.  My kids were excited to go back, and I was excited to go for the first time.  It was an overcast day, but that didn’t stop anyone from playing hard in the water and on the beach!

Some of the fun people who were with us!  (I’m kind of lame that I didn’t get everyone…)

Grandma bought each of the kids their own BIG rake and shovel.  These were so cute and way fun!!  Perfect for the beach!

We had fun building sand castles.

Burying daddy in the sand.

(It didn’t work very well…)

Jason threw the girls into the water.  Michaela LOVED it, Savannah was so-so, and Lily hated it!

We enjoyed a yummy lunch.

428

Jared had a noodle fight with Uncle Dennis.

429

There were water fights.

Jared kept finding all of the kids’ floatys and getting in them.  I felt bad, because he has one, but I didn’t bring it because on our vacation he hated it.

Julie and I buried Lily and Zach.

It worked out better, but they ended up being a two-headed mermaid.

482

Dennis and Savannah made a giant footprint dedicated to Ashley.  (Look closely at the toes Ash, and you’ll understand why!)

Some people took naps.

We played hard and got goofier as the day went on!

I love Willard Bay... Such a fun place.. We haven't been in a couple of years, so this post makes me want to go again..
As an answer to your question: YES the 240 is where we are planning on building. But that seems to be a slow going process. :(

That looks way fun. Is Willard bay on the Great Salt Lake? I've heard of it but I don't know where it is. I totally love those action shots that you got of Jason throwing the kids into the water.
