A Lesson from Blogging

In these past 3 1/2 years that I have been blogging, I have learned many things.  But probably my most favorite lesson of all, the one that has become my blogging mantra, is that EVERYTHING IS BLOG-WORTHY.

My baby’s rather psycho hair?  Blog-worthy.

Washing the car?  Blog-worthy.

Every.  Single.  Swim party my sisters and I have EVER had?  Blog-worthy.

Every apron I made in the past year?  Blog-worthy.

Everything deserves getting it’s very own special blog post.

Hence, this post.

I learned something recently, and wanted to share it with those who love blogging as much as I do.  Or those who love blog-stalking as much as I do.  Also, those who HATE blogging.  (I have no idea why you are reading this, but you too, can learn something from my experience)

Do you ever feel like the world, like society is just too vague in some things?  Like you are supposed to have common sense or something and figure it out on your own?  What is this world coming to?!?  Well, I am happy to report, that I have found a place.  A special place, where you need not fear this “unknown” any longer.

I was at a fast food drive through.  These are very traumatizing.  First of all, there is usually one voice that tells you the specials of the day, and then when you start to order, a completely different voice confirms it with you.  Talk about FrEaKy!!!!!

Second, is the screen, or lack there of.  If there is a screen, it does not always work.  And then if there is something to correct, it takes seven different languages and an ancient script to resolve the problem.  If there is no screen.  Well, let’s just say, your dinner is a surprise!

Last, is the phrase “pull up to the first window”.  You may have no idea what to do at this point.  So you start inching your car around hoping against hope that the solution will make itself clear.

Well, my friends, if you have chosen correctly and gone to the special place that is RIGHT IN THE SALT LAKE VALLEY, you have nothing to fear.

TA-DA!!!!!!!!

And after you pay for your food, and wonder how to find the place that they will hand you your goodness…..

You will see THIS off in the distance!

HOORAY!!!!  They have heard the people!!  They UNDERSTAND us!!  They have provided a modern-day MiRaCLe!!!!!

Now, I am sure you are all on pins and needles wondering WHAT & WHERE this genius business is.  Unfortunately, I feel that this information is not to be treated lightly.  I cannot just throw it out there into cyber-space!  It could be used to harm the human race!!!  I will not have that.  Therefore, I will have to give the secret out to only those who comment on this post.  I look forward to hearing from those who want a better world, as I do!!

Cory and I hate when we pull up we need too look at the menu because it so rare we go out to eat anything, yet the person on the speaker the mili-second you pull up wants to take your order. We feel so pressured we usually just order the first thing we see on the menu or the only thing we know the restaurant for sure serves. So where is this genius place?

I went through the drive through yesterday and had the same 'specials in a different voice' experience. I never realized how much I hate that! One overly perky girl says the special and then some uninterested, boring guy comes on and says 'anything else?' Lame.
